Tomo No Kai supports the Japanese Immersion Programs at Sand Lake Elementary School, Mears Middle School, and Dimond High School in Anchorage, Alaska
Monthly Meeting The Tomo No Kai May meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the library at Sand Lake School at 7500 Jewel Lake Road. From 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm the Sand Lake PTSA meeting will be held at the same location.
Sand Lake Sixth Grade Japanese Immersion Program Completion Ceremony Sand Lake Sixth Grade Japanese Immersion Program Completion Ceremony will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Mears Middle School at 2700 W 100th Ave Anchorage, 99515.
Sand Lake Elementary trip to Japan for year 2015/2016 5th and 6th graders in the Japanese Immersion Program is from June 5 to June 19, 2016. This exchange trip centers on Chitose Elementary School and home stay, with an added tour. The next trip for 5th and 6th graders in the Japanese Immersion Program 2018.
