Cherry Blossom Festival
The Cherry Blossom Festival is a fun family event with student performances, food and games all with a Japanese influence.
Friday, April 20th 5:30 – 8:00 pm at Dimond High at 2909 W 88th Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska 99502
5:10 Door Opens – Come in the main door, look for our Cherry Blossom decorations. Have your $2/person ($10 max/family) ready. Cash is faster! Babies in arms are free!
5:30-6:15 Kindergarten through 12th grade Student Performance in the Auditeria (Students will be escorted to their grade level assigned spot in the Auditeria and stay there until everyone’s performance is done. Parents, please enjoy the K-12 performance in the audience seating area.)
Your child will be escorted out to the back of the room after the final performance at 6:15.
6:15 Food Booths Open – Enjoy various Food, come hungry!
- Taiko Group Food Booth – Japanese Curry (Proceeds go to Tomodachi Daiko)
- Chitose Food Booth – noodles, onigiri, edamame, nori, pocky, panda, and ramune soda.
- Sushi rolls available for pre-order until Wednesday, April 18th, 2018. (Proceeds go to Sand Lake Chitose outbound group.)
6:15 – 8:00 Activity Booths open in Gym – Please enjoy Japanese games, crafts, T-shirt sales is also happening here!
